February 12 is the birthday of the Amish founder, Jakob Ammann, who was born in 1644. I will give an update on Titus Morris, a farmer from Kentucky who lives a simple life. I had an earlier blog post on him.

Weekly Schedule (Saturdays)

Services are held on the Sabbath (Saturday) according to the following schedule:

· 11:00 AM EST: Bible Study.

· 1:30 PM EST: Lunch (Plant-based).

· 3:00 PM EST: Worship Service.

Development Status

As of late 2025, the facility remains under active construction. Recent updates have shown progress on building interior walls, installing floor joists, and milling lumber locally. The project is funded through physical mail donations and tithes, as electronic donation methods have been suspended.

Titus also married Stephanie in a private ceremony on February 27, 2026. They now have a baby, Ruth.

MY THOUGHTS:

I feel that Titus Morris and his community follow 4 core values of the Anabaptist Trio: faith, family, community and simple life. Titus himself, is like Jordan the Jungle Boy of Pagan Island, where he is quite self-sufficient, lives simply and live off grid. The only difference is that one lives on the island, the other lives in the woods near the Appalachian foothills. He says he lives in a similar way to the Amish community, but he does not follow their religion and practices pure Christianity instead. He is a Para-Amish.

I can see similarities between Titus and the McCallum Family. One of them is that they love horses and they use it for work and transport around their area. Just as the McCallums have their own church building, Titus is building the Henson Creek House of Prayer building. If only Titus could meet the McCallums, I will be happy for them all.

I also hope that Titus and Stephanie can start a large family like those Anabaptist families.

Jordan is a man living in near-total isolation on the remote, volcanic Pagan Island in the Northern Mariana Islands, often referred to as the "jungle boy" or one of the most isolated people on Earth. He has lived alone on the island for nearly a decade (as of late 2025/early 2026), surviving by fishing, foraging, and using techniques passed down from his ancestors.

The Hidden Lifelines Most Americans Lose First in a Crisis

Most people imagine a crisis as a single dramatic moment. But the truth is simpler. A real collapse begins with the quiet failure of everyday systems people depend on without even thinking. When those lifelines snap, everything else unravels.

These are the five lifelines that disappear first and hit the hardest.

1. Water Flow

Turn on the faucet and nothing comes out.

5. Cash Availability

Most people have less than a hundred dollars in physical cash at home. Digital money works only when the system works. The moment the system stalls, people discover how vulnerable a cashless society really is.
