I heard from ex-Amish people that some Amish people do not know whether they are saved by Jesus Christ or not. I notice that most ex-Amish are from the Swartzentruber Amish sect (one of the most extreme Amish group), I understand why they left and they do have my empathy and sympathy, as some were abused themselves. I do have love for Ex-Amish people.
I only hope that they do not paint a broad brush of all Amish people by saying that all Amish are unsaved. Those who are Ex-Amish do emphasize that they agree that they are not painting a broad brush of all Amish. There are also many Amish who give their testimonies that they are believe in Jesus Christ.
If you see some converts to Amish like the McCallums, Mark Curtis and Titus Morris and Matthew Secich, they are sincere believers in Christ and do not hide their love for God. In this blog post, I will post the interview with Paul Yoder, an old order Amish who owns a lumber mill in Mio, Michigan. Please listen and enjoy, as he answers questions from an interviewer in regards to faith and that old order Amish do embrace modern technology as well.

We Came to the Amish
Sadie Quarrier
Four-Star chef Matthew Secich left behind the material world to become Amish. He and his family joined an Amish community in Unity, Maine, and opened a charcuterie. New filmmakers Sadie Quarrier and Bridget Sipe were graciously allowed to spend a few days documenting the family as part of their Maine Media Documentary Film School project. Hopefully we will expand upon our collected assets when time allows, but this short edit will give you a taste. The Amish request discretion when showing faces which influenced how we shot and edited this film. *We are keeping this film private. Please do not post!*
